Sticks: Wood or Composite?

By: GarryHart

With all the different technologies for sticks these days, it is hard to see what is really right for a player. Most players these days like a strong but flexible shaft while being light weight. It seems like sticks are getting more and more expensive, but are breaking a lot more as well. From my own personal experiences, Easton graphite sticks have been the best stick for me over the years. It seems like that stick can go through any kind of punishment and still works great.

Personally, if I had unlimited resources I would only buy Warrior, because it’s the lightest, and one of the best performing sticks. I love the curves on them as well. However, they do break a lot. I went through 5 warrior sticks in 3 months.
