New Hair Cut For Women

By: Terry Glass

Haircuts for women no matter your age, whoever, you are and no matter what your everyday life, there will at all times be moments when your feelings turn to the status of your hair. Well aren't there?

Now let's gaze in that mirror! You know what hair is, you're conscious it doesn't always behave itself, but you're no longer frightened of it. Hair is meant to be our ultimate glory after all, so let's get to grips with it and make certain we can make it live up to that description.

The initial word of advice is don't cheat. Are you sure that's a healthy sheen you're looking at, or is it a coating of unwanted fat? Are you in fact blonde, or in fact, a subtle shade of mouse? Is that last year's perm or today's "in" look? And, without being hurtful, should that dark re-growth really be there?

The more ruthless you can be with yourself the better. Look at what you have, more exactly than at what you imagine you have. If your hair is fine, wispy or thin, acknowledge it. There are lots of ways of giving it more depth or body. Just as, if you are stuck with thick, wiry hair, with a determination of its own, don't lose hope. Help is at hand on how to identify and cope with your hair type.

When you've recognized the sort of hair you have and the kind of environmental conditions it is probable to be subjected to, then you are half way there. If you come to a decision to make some changes, consider your lifestyle and all the occasions you could be called upon to be in.

Take into consideration out how much time and money you can manage to pay for to spend on your hair. Recognise your boundaries, and if you are idle or simply cannot give up too much time for your hair, your style should be one which will cause the least work and trouble.

Look at the shape of your face and think about whether the new haircut you'd like will make you look younger or older. Lastly examine the whole of you - figure, height, colouring, clothes and make-up - and vary your look to suit you from what is at this time fashionable.

If this sounds like a lot to think about, don't hurl a super de luxe tantrum, and whatever you do, don't tear your hair out! None of us look textbook; not even the top models in Vogue or our favourite screen idols.

Some of the styles we see in photographs and desire to reproduce would be very difficult to uphold - day in day out - unless of course you had a hairdresser at your elbow geared up to dance constant attendance ...

If you do see a photograph of a haircut that appeals to you, your hairdresser will tell you as to whether or not it would be sensible to reproduce it. But don't expect an identical result.
