Plan for your NCLEX test the moment you decide to take classes in nursing. Plan your schedule, buy the books and review the reading materials and reading materials to the NCLEX Test prep audios. 1). If you listen to the NCLEX prep audios , you will be able to comprehend the information faster when you are reading, as the information will be more familiar. This will and save you time while you are studying. It will also leave you more time to pay attention to the areas of weakness. 5). Attend! Go to each class, especially when there is a test review. Most instructors are intimately familiar with the exam. some will prepare you for what to anticipate. Teachers will often tell you the content and the format of the test, as well as some particular questions which , may (Will!) see on the exam. Professors often teach to the exam. 6). Ask! Ask that the teacher to identify material that will be emphasized on the exam. 7). Review! Read over any content from practice exams, homework, sample problems, review material, the book, class notes and of course your audio study materials. 8). Sleep! Get plenty of sleep the night before the test. Statistics show that students that are well rested get better test results than those that cram. 9). Eat! consume a healthy breakfast. Don't make it too starchy or you are likely to feel tired Pack a snack for the break. The exam is 6 hours long for NCLEX RN and 5 hours for NCLEX PN. 10). Arrive Early! Show up early for the test. It is amazing how many professors will provide their pupils with last minute tips. It is also a chance to get a question answered by another student. Of course this may not happen for the NCLEX test itself, but for tests leading up to it. 11).Go to the restroom! Go to the bathroom before beginning the exam. This may seem obvious, but most students don't think about this. You don't want to be distracted. 12). Where a watch! There is plenty of time to take the NCLEX Exam Very few students run out of time. Wear a watch and don't rush yourself. 13).Be positive! Keep a positive attitude. You are ready for the exam. Now it is time to tackle it with confidence and relax. You know the information now you are prepared to prove it. 14). Mark the questions you don't know! If you are not sure of an answer, mark it for review and then come back to it. There are often other questions that remind you of previously asked questions. You just passed the NCLEX exam!
