Buffalo Bills Tickets- Bills Active In Weeks Before Draft

By:

The Buffalo Bills burst into the headlines in the offseason when they signed controversial wide receiver Terrell Owens, and the news coming from the Bills has only increased in the weeks since. In true Owens fashion, T.O. has been making the news reel with reports of him forgoing voluntary workouts. At the same time, Marshawn Lynch was handed down his punishment for a gun charge from the NFL. He will be sitting out the first three games of the 2009 season, losing $112,000. The Bills are also still shifting their roster as they recently signed offensive lineman Seth McKinney. The addition of T.O. has also led to them shopping around wide receiver/kickoff returner Roscoe Parrish for a possible trade. Fans will want to see all of the new additions with Buffalo Bills tickets found online.

Terrell Owens signed a one-year contract with the Bills in Match worth $6.5 million. Although he was a no-show with the voluntary workouts, Owens has already said that he is going to be a part of the May voluntary minicamps. There is a microscope on Owens as he was released by the Dallas Cowboys, the third team to rid themselves of the receiver. Owens has had marked problems with every quarterback he has played with in his career, and he has been suspended and fined for his on- and off-field antics. The addition of Owens is the probable catalyst to the Bills looking to trade Parrish. Parrish has been with the Bills since he entered the league in 2005. He has yet to be a starter for the team. In his best season, which was 2007, he started three games and played in all 16, finishing with 352 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown.

An appeal from Lynch is expected after the decision was handed down about his suspension. Last year, Lynch had another run-in with the law for a hit and run accident in May of 2008. Lynch spent both of his seasons in the NFL with the Bills. The running back was a first-round draft pick in 2007 as the 12th overall pick. His first year, he played and started in 13 games with 1,115 yards and seven touchdowns. Last season, he started and played in 15 games, tallying 1,036 rushing yards, eight rushing touchdowns, 300 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown.

McKinney joined the league in 2002 when he was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the third round of the NFL Draft as the 90th overall pick. He can play either guard or center, making him an important addition to the Bills line. After starting only a handful of games with the Dolphins in the first two seasons, he worked his way to starting every game in 2004. He missed all of the 2006 season with an injury, leading to him moving to the Cleveland Browns for the 2007 season. He spent two seasons with the Browns before coming to the Bills. In his career, the lineman has tallied 45 starts in 85 regular-season appearances.
